Renārs Bedrītis, a member of the company’s board, tells “Dzirkstele” that the earth is currently cold and the Latvians will not leave so quickly. “We will probably do it in the middle of May, but it doesn’t really make sense earlier. Not everyone has sneaked out yet. The municipality will give us a list of where to go to fog Latvians. There are times when we return to those places where we have already fogged. We’ll see what the situation is, maybe someone spills later, then we do it one more time accordingly. Latvians grow like this in several generations. If it starts fogging early, then it happens that we fog the upper ones, but the lower ones have not come out yet. Then you have to follow it. We usually start work in mid-May, early June, but not later,” says R. Bedrītis.

“City Camping” SIA has been trying to limit Latvians in Gulbene district since 2021. “There are fewer Latvians left. There are places where they disappear. It cannot be said that they have completely disappeared, but they are rarer. It is,” concludes R. Bedrītis.

The company can carry out restriction and destruction of Sosnovska Latvians also in the properties of natural and legal persons, but the response is very low. “There have been one or two of the private ones over the years,” says R. Bedrītis.
