From 10:00 am to 11:00 am, swimming competitions and testing of young athletes will take place in Daugavpils Olympic Center (Stadiona Street 1). On the other hand, para-sport demonstrations – archery, basketball, tennis and table tennis, badminton, bocce, fencing, etc. – will take place in the Sports Hall of the Daugavpils Culture Palace (Smilšu iela 92) from 14.00 – 17.00.

Municipal councils of Daugavpils state city Viktorija Sporāne-Hudojana, deputy chairwoman of the Social Issues Committee: “It is extremely important that this holiday will take place in Daugavpils. I see great potential in the development of parasports in our city. Parasports helps children with special needs to develop. Such events contribute very well to the socialization of children. Young people will be able to make new friends, get to know different types of sports, and perhaps in the future they will be able to practice sports and develop in this direction. I invite children, young people and their parents to attend this event!”

Those interested can participate in both events or choose one. Participation in activities is free.

The Children and Youth Parasports Association invites interested parties to apply for the event by filling out the registration form HERE until May 3.
