At the end of the week, the weather will become calmer – both atmospheric pressure and air temperature will rise. On Sunday, the thermometer could approach the +20 degree mark in some places, informs the Center for Environment, Geology and Meteorology.
Thursday, April 25. as the center of the cyclone moves over the eastern part of the country, the sky will be covered by a thick blanket of clouds, it will rain in almost the entire territory of the country. In some places, the precipitation will even last for a long time. Mainly, a slow wind will blow, which will turn from the west, south-west in the afternoon. The air will warm up to +4…+9 degrees, and in the southeastern regions of the country up to +11 degrees.
At the end of the week, atmospheric pressure will gradually increase, as a result of which the weather will become more favorable again – there will be fewer clouds in the sky and the intensity of precipitation will decrease, although rain is still expected in parts of Latvia during the holidays.
In the dark hours of the day, the thermometer will mostly stay within 0…+6 degrees, only on the night of Friday and Saturday it could drop below 0 degrees in some places. During the day, as the sky clears more often and the sun shines more, the maximum air temperature will reach +10…+ in many places. 15 degrees, but on Sunday in some parts of the southern part of the country, the thermometer may rise up to +20 degrees.
In the first half of the new working week, it will only rain in places and the weather will be summer-like – the latest forecasts show that in most parts of the country the thermometer will rise above the +20 degree mark during the day, and in some places it could even reach +24 degrees.
