on April 28 at 13.00 Daugavpils Regional History and Art Museum will host a creative workshop within the framework of “Family Day”, which will take place within the framework of the “Riga Porcelain Spring” exhibition.

Tea and coffee sets are one of the most popular types of items in circulation. In many homes, tableware is still used according to its original function – serving tea or coffee both everyday and on holidays. In other homes, dishes or their parts are kept as a family heirloom, a testimony of family history, a memory from close people or a reminder of significant events: weddings, birthdays, baptisms, school graduations, etc. .

As part of the family day, there will be an opportunity to learn more about the history of Riga porcelain production and modern porcelain collecting trends. Let’s take a look at the variety of shapes, decals and names of objects by viewing Iveta Krylova’s exhibition “Riga Porcelain Spring”. During the creative class, visitors will have the opportunity to assume the role of porcelain masters and create their own set of porcelain tableware from paper.

Since the number of participants in the “Family Day” creative class is limited, we invite those interested to register their participation in time by calling 20203713 on weekdays.

The “Family Day” creative class at the Daugavpils Regional Research and Art Museum will take place on Sunday, April 28 from 13.00 to 14.00. The price of a family ticket for visiting the museum is EUR 7.00. Filming and photography may be done during the event for publicity purposes.
