In the final of the Latvian floorball championship, Talsi will challenge Ulbrock

Talsu NSS/”Krauzers” team secured a place in the “Elvi Floorball League” final on Sunday, where they will meet “Masters”/”Ulbroka” team.

In the sixth game of the semi-final series, Talsinieki beat the Cēsis “Lekrings” team with a score of 3:2 (0:0, 0:1, 2:1, 0:0, 1:0) in the post-game shootout and reached 4-2 in the series up to four victories. .

No goals were scored in the first third, but in the second minute of the second period, Olafs Zvīnis put the team in the lead. In the middle of the third period, Maris Šķuburs made it 1:1, but in the second half of the third period, Bruno Beķeris scored for the home team and Andrejs Šķerbergs for the guests with a difference of 20 seconds.

Regular time and, like ten minutes of extra time, ended in a draw, so the winner was determined in a post-match shootout. The visitors won with 2:1, for whom Toms Akmenlauks and Škerbergs scored, while Beķeris stood out for the opponents.

The teams played a two-round main tournament this season, after which the eight strongest teams entered the playoffs.
