On April 30 of this year, the city’s rock bands came to the audience “Time dog” the latest studio album “Imitation”. The album is available in digital format at all streaming and download locations, but its live premiere is expected at the band’s biggest concert to date on May 24 at Palladium Riga.
According to the band’s representatives, most of the songs included in the album were created in the band’s camps already in 2020, and since then the record has been gradually polished, simultaneously introducing the listeners to several tracks from the album. Songs published so far “Nowhere to Go”“morning, morning, morning, morning, morning, morning” together with Kristini Paži, and this spring also “Water of memory“, the author of the video of which is the band member Elvijs Pārpucis.
The “Time Dog” group was founded in 2013. Currently, Arnis Rachinskis, Elvijs Pārpucis, Jānis Burmeisters and Kārlis Josts play in the band. The music of the “Laika Suns” group is created by drawing inspiration from the rhythms of today’s big cities, as well as from the golden ages of guitar music, which will be vividly evidenced in the powerful and energetic performances. The group “Laika suns” has so far released three albums, with its singles it has been at the top of the local radio charts, several nominations for the Latvian music recording of the year award, including being nominated for the prestigious “Austras award”.
