A new DJ has arrived on the most popular music streaming platforms [Ex] da Bass (Mareks Dainis) radio single “Deja Vu”, which was made in cooperation with the new dance music talent from Finland – Devinity (Joel Pirinen).

If briefly about the song “Deja Vu”, then it is another one [Ex] da Bass’ masterpiece in the field of club music. According to its stylistics and with the appropriate processing, it could easily be imagined to be played at Eurovision as well.

The song is based on the best traditions of the current commercial dance music of both countries – Latvia and Finland. The vocal parts are taken by the Finnish singer and songwriter Joanna (Joanna Heikkinen), whose voice bears certain similarities to Dua Lipa, one of the most popular singers in the world today.

“I was introduced to Devinity at a party in Helsinki, where I had gone to perform with the world-famous Spanish DJ Sak Noel, winner of the EDMA 2024 Remixer of the Year nomination, as part of my previous musical collaboration. Joel is only 24 years old, but his musical feats have already been played over 10 million times on streaming platforms! Also worth mentioning is the fact that he has collaborated with great dance music artists like Calvo, Dazz and Viva La Panda. And this is just the beginning!” excited about his new cooperation partner [Ex] da Bass. “He describes his music as a combination of pop and dance music, which will definitely be suitable for both radio stations and dance clubs. After a couple of hours spent talking together, we concluded that we are on the same page and decided that we should make a joint song in the future. Here it is! “Deja Vu” is energetic, airy, summery and catchy – a song that will suit both radio airwaves and hot beach parties and big festivals.”

It should be noted that this is our DJ’s third international single this year, and “it is suspected that it will not be the last, as there are several more interesting projects in the process of being created,” says [Ex] da Bass.
