During the Easter holidays, TV3 Life presents the premiere of a new comedy series

The appearance of a serial killer in a quiet neighborhood of Los Angeles creates major chaos. Eva is an avid fan of crime podcasts and is almost obsessed with the case – unlike her husband Nathan. When young Chloe is murdered and Eva’s new plumber, Matt, is spotted nearby, she’s certain he’s the killer. Eve is desperate to get the truth out of Matt and hopes to make good money with a podcast starring her new killer friend. But controlling someone who craves to kill turns out to be more difficult than either of them thought.

Nathan makes a deal: either Matt records a podcast with him, or Nathan turns him in to the police, but won’t get an answer. Nathan panics when two policemen suddenly appear at the tennis club and ask him questions about the dead woman. Matt will agree to participate in the podcast, however, he wants to be involved in the creation process. Although he acts as if every decision is made by the three of them together, the opposite is true and any control soon slips out of Eve and Nathan’s hands.

Although the series, contrary to its name, is not based on real events, the events depicted there have in a way been influenced by a series of real events, as the true crime genre has experienced its boom around the world in recent years. Will Eve and Nathan succeed in creating a successful podcast, or will Matt derail their plans?
