The Kremlin has again decided to remind the West about the nuclear threat by announcing new military exercises, “dialog.ua” writes.

Reflexive leadership is a key element in Russia’s hybrid war against the West – the goal of this tactic is to use targeted rhetoric and information operations to force the enemy to voluntarily take actions beneficial to the Kremlin, analysts at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) explain.

Experts have observed that Russian officials are beginning to scare the West with a nuclear war, linking it to providing new aid to Ukraine – the main goal of the threat is to force the West to reduce or completely abandon military support to Ukraine.

It is logical that new military exercises related to tactical nuclear weapons are planned around the time when new weapons are expected to arrive in Ukraine. ISW analysts are sure that with its threats, the Kremlin is trying, if not to force the West to completely abandon its support for Kyiv, then at least to dissuade Ukrainian President Zelensky from strikes on Russian territory.

It should be noted that experts are convinced that the Kremlin will not use them on the battlefield in Ukraine as part of military exercises with tactical nuclear weapons.
