The occupiers have launched drones near the Zaporizhzhia NPP

The occupiers have set up drone launch pads right next to the station’s sixth reactor.

This was stated by the representative of the Main Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andriys Chernyak, in a comment to the “Babel” publication. He states that the Central Intelligence Agency has evidence that the occupiers are using kamikaze aircraft over the nuclear reactors of the Russian-occupied Zaporizhia nuclear power plant.

He emphasized: “In a video recording of an enemy drone obtained by electronic intelligence, there is a marking UT4D.TT, which indicates that the drones are supplied to the occupation forces by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.”

According to him, since the summer of 2023, the Russians have started using the territory of the captured station for training FPV drone pilots.

“This is done by the so-called Archangel School, which is financed by the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (formerly the GRU),” Chernyak said.

All these facts are another proof of the criminal and irresponsible actions of the aggressor state in the occupied nuclear facility. And such actions can have catastrophic consequences, said a spokesman for the Central Intelligence Agency.

On May 26, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi reminded that the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant has been under Russian occupation for 785 days.
