Today in the Swedish city of Malmö at At 22:00 Latvian time, the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest will begin, where Latvia will be represented by the song “Hollow” by one of the best-known domestic musicians, Don.
Don will not be on stage today, however, as he is scheduled to perform in the second semi-final on May 9.

Don’s chances
The predictions of the bookmakers are not encouraging – Don’s chances of entering the final are considered very low. Of the 16 representatives of the second semi-final, Latvia has the third worst coefficient. Lower chances than Latvia are predicted only for the Czech Republic and Malta.

Neighbors prospects
Today, Lithuania will start in the first semi-final, which is predicted to have a safe entry to the final, while Estonia, more likely than not, will enter. Lithuania’s prospects from the Baltic states can be considered the best, however, at the same time, Lithuanians are not promised victory or high places.
