The electric car manufacturer facing bankruptcy is looking for a way out of the difficult situation.
The situation of Henrik Fisker and the company he leads is getting worse every day. It was recently reported that production (the only Ocean model) was being sold at huge discounts, now information has emerged that Henrik Fisker has put his luxury villa near Los Angeles up for sale.
The 1,000-square-meter, two-story structure is beautifully located with views of the skyscrapers of the megalopolis, has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a wine cellar, a gym, a sauna, a six-car garage and a swimming pool. The price of the villa is 35 million dollars, which is more than the estimated price of the Fisker company (25 million dollars).
The media reports that Fisker’s negotiations with the four big car manufacturers (including Nissan) about attracting investment have ended unsuccessfully, so there are fewer and fewer options.
According to Business Insider, Fisker employees are already preparing for mass layoffs – they have been notified by mail of the upcoming downsizing and closing of departments. It is possible that some of the proceeds from the sale of the house will be used to pay compensation.
Fisker says it’s doing everything it can to stay afloat. Among the possible measures, in addition to third-party investments, restructuring is also mentioned.
