STAND UP TO CANCER

Ole Miss will host a Stand Up to Cancer (SU2C) game on Thursday night.

The game will feature a Placard Moment™ between the third and fourth innings in which fans at Swayze Field will be invited to stand in recognition for a moment of silence. This impactful moment draws attention to just how many people are affected by this disease and the need for further research.

Placards will be placed in each seat for fans to fill out when they arrive at Swayze Field. Extra placards can also be picked up at the left field and home plate entrances.

Fans who can’t make it to Swayze Field can also create a digital version to share on social media using the SU2C placard generator at StandUpToCancer.org.

Thursday’s game will be nationally televised on ESPNU. Fans are encouraged to attend and participate to help raise awareness.

HONORING COACH BIANCO

Fans are encouraged to arrive early on Thursday to help us celebrate head coach Mike Bianco reaching the 1,000-win milestone for his career, including 900 wins at Ole Miss. Coach Bianco will be honored on-field during pregame ceremonies.

WEEKEND PROMOS

In addition to the SU2C initiative, Ole Miss will distribute poms for the weekend on Thursday, followed by the latest set of Rebel trading cards on Friday. Saturday’s series finale will bring a rope hat giveaway.

DOUBLE DECKER ARTS FESTIVAL

In addition to a marquee SEC baseball series, Oxford will be buzzing thanks to the annual Double Decker Arts Festival on The Square on Friday and Saturday. Click here for a schedule of events to plan your weekend!
