The tariff for waste management services will increase in the elderly – BauskasDzive.lv

From today, May 5, the tariff for waste management services in the Association of the Elderly will increase by 1.18 euros per cubic meter (m³) and will be 27.34 euros per m³the LETA agency was informed in the municipality of Bauska region.

The new tariff came into effect because the previous operator SIA “Eco Baltia Vide” ceased to provide the service and the municipal capital company SIA “Bauskas novada komunālserviss” (BNKS) started.

In the entire Bauska region, management services will be provided by “Bauska region communal service”.

Bauskas municipality has concluded a contract with the winner of the competition “Household waste management in the administrative territory of Bauskas” – municipal capital company SIA “Bauskas novada komunālserviss” (BNKS).

In the future, the company will provide a uniform waste management service in the entire Bauska county, and the service tariff will also be uniform for all county customers.

According to the results of the open tender procurement and the natural resources tax rate currently in force, in the future the fee for unsorted household waste management in Bauska county will be 27.34 euros per cubic meter, excluding value added tax (VAT).

The new waste management price in the Association of the Elderly will take effect from today, but in the rest of the county – in the association of Bauska, Iecava and Rundāle – it will come into effect from June 1.

As previously reported, the “Bauskas County Communal Services” established in the process of reorganization of capital companies of Bauskas County took over the provision of all communal services in the county since September 1 of last year.

The capital companies involved in the reorganization are: SIA “Bauskas novada komunālserviss”, SIA “Bauskas siltums”, SIA “Vides serviss”, SIA “Dzīvokļu komunālā saimniecība”, SIA “Iecavas siltums”, SIA “Kūdrinieks” and SIA “Mūsu saimpiss”. On September 1, SIA “Bauskas novada komunālserviss” also took over the communal services, which until now were provided by the municipality of Bauskas and the municipality of Valles.
