The “Knicks” beat the Indiana “Pacers” at home with a score of 130:121 (36:36, 27:37, 36:18, 31:30) and reached 2-0 in the four-game winning streak.
Jalen Branson led the winners with 29 points, scoring 24 of his points in the second half. Ogugua Anunoby and Donte DiVincenzo each scored 28 points, while Josh Hart led the way with 19 points, 15 rebounds and seven assists.
Tyreese Halliburton had 34 points and nine assists for Indiana, while Obi Toppin added 20 points.
The next two games of the series will be played at the “Pacers” field.
In the first round of the playoffs, the Knicks defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 4-2 in the series, while the Indiana team beat the Milwaukee Bucks 4-2.
In the previous season, the Denver “Nuggets” defeated the Miami “Heat” 4-1 in the final series and won the NBA championship for the first time in history.
