“Timberwolves” cornerback Finch has torn his knee ligament after a collision with a player

Finch suffered the injury in the fourth quarter when he was hit on the sideline by Minnesota quarterback Mike Conley.

The coach was able to leave the field only with the help of others and during the rest of the game his duties were taken over by assistant coach Mike Nori.

The Timberwolves reached the first round after a 19-year hiatus, which is tied for the third-longest streak in NBA playoff history.

At one time, fans of the Los Angeles Clippers (29 seasons) and Washington Wizards (22 seasons) had to wait longer.

In the second round of the NBA “play off”, or in the semi-finals of the Western Conference, the “Timberwolves” opponents will be last season’s champions Denver “Nuggets” or Los Angeles “Lakers”. The Nuggets are leading the series 3-1.
