“We will have to do the same as in the first game, only with even more intensity and be ready for an even more physical game. There are details we can improve at both ends of the pitch. We are working on it. I think what’s important is what kind of mindset we start with and how ready we are for a physical game,” said Mazula.
There was plenty of physicality in the first game, especially late in the fourth quarter when Jayson Tatum went down on his back after a Caleb Martin fumble.
“We’ve got to come out almost like we’re chasing. We have to be ready to play and fight – we can’t expect our opponents not to. They are well trained. Well organized, disciplined. must make sure. They will be fast, aggressive and try to knock us to the ground. But we’ll be ready for it and we’ll be ready to do the same,” Jaylen Brown says before Game 2.
