Recognized as the best in the Western Conference, Doncic averaged a “triple double” in 15 matches in March, scoring 32.5 points, 10.1 rebounds and 10.1 assists.

This is the second month in the Slovenian’s NBA career with an average triple double. He surpassed Russell Westbrook in this indicator, but only Oscar Robertson (5) had more such months in the history of the league.

Also, Doncic became the first player in the history of “Mavericks” to win the conference’s best basketball player award two months in a row, and the second player in the ranks of the Dallas club to win the player of the month award at least twice during the season. Previously, only Dirk Nowitzki was able to do this.

Branson averaged 28.8 points, 2.9 rebounds and 5.8 assists in 14 games in the Eastern Conference. In the match against the San Antonio “Spurs” on March 29, the “Knicks” defender achieved his career record by scoring 61 points.

Meanwhile, Victor Vembanyama from the San Antonio “Spurs” in the Western Conference and Brandon Miller from the Charlotte “Hornets” in the Eastern Conference were recognized as the best rookies of the month of March.

Vembanyama averaged 21.2 points, 10.5 rebounds and a league-best 3.83 blocks in 12 games.

Meanwhile, Latvian Dāvjas Bertānas’ teammate Miller averaged 18.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 14 matches in March.

Both Vembanyama and Miller earned conference Rookie of the Year honors for the third month in a row.
