Today, “Jelgava” will meet “Metta” at home in the third round of the “Tonybet” Latvian football league. The match will start at 4 p.m. on the artificial field of the “Jelgava” football club’s Sports Base, with the live broadcast of the game on TV channel TV4.

“Tukums 2000″/”Telms” unexpectedly lead the tournament table after two rounds with six points, while “Valmiera” and “Riga” have also earned six points. “Daugavpilij” has four points, RFS and “Metta” have three points each, “Jelgava” has won one point, but bronze medalists “Auda”, “Grobiņa”/LFS and “Liepāja” have no points.
The Premier League championship with the participation of ten teams takes place in four rounds, with each team playing 36 games. 180 games are expected to be played until November 9. Last season, RFS became the champion for the second time, which ensured victory only in the last round, winning over “Metta” team with 1:0.
