A representative of the Ukrainian military intelligence service confirmed to the website “Ukrainskaja Pravda” that Ukrainian drones attacked a military target in Ryazan, which caused significant damage.
The “Baza” channel of the “Telegram” platform previously reported that a fire broke out at the Russian Ryazan oil refinery at night after a drone attack. “Drones attacked the Ryazan oil refinery. A fire broke out there. According to eyewitnesses, the attack took place around 3 in the morning. Eyewitnesses reported that a noise was heard, and then two explosions took place,” “Baza” reported.
The second target was an oil refinery in Russia’s Voronezh region. The intelligence service of the Ukrainian army did not officially confirm that the drones attacked this object, but it was reported by the Ukrainian media, citing sources in the intelligence service.
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Ukrainian drones were intercepted over Voronezh, Ryazan, Belgorod and Kursk regions at night.
According to experts, Ukraine managed to limit Russia’s oil refining capabilities with drone attacks, which in turn negatively affects exports and causes fuel prices to rise on the domestic market.
On its “X” account, the media “Nexta_tv” also published video footage showing a fire at the Ryazan oil refinery.
