We are announcing applications for young people to promote growth and leadership

Ogre Youth Initiative Society “Talent Forge” of the project “Youth Stop – [līdz]activity” invites Opeople living in Gres county young people in the age group from 13-25 yearswho want to develop leadership skills, gain new knowledge and experience, as well as challenge themselves in organizing an event, apply for project activities by filling out the questionnaire: https://ieej.lv/tjsYd

When applying for activities, project participants will have the opportunity to:

• participate in 2 days of growth training for increasing the leadership potential of young people. Date and place: May 18-19, 2024, guest house “Kastanės”, Kaibala, Lielvārde. In the program: performance of team tasks or “team building” activities; master classes on creating events and projects, volunteer work, as well as a growth lesson together with a coach, where young people will learn the techniques of setting and achieving goals, techniques for their own motivation and generating ideas.
• participate in youth participation workshops (June, July, August) and receive the support of a mentor, with the aim you develop your own initiatives and eventually implement the main activity of the project: a youth day or a festival. Time and place: June, July, August, meetings 1-2 times a month, Ogre, Brīvības street.
• applying their knowledge and skills, organize and implement an exciting event for their peers in the local community – a youth day or festival. Time and place: end of August, Ogre urban area.
