Warm weather will return to Latvia next week and the air temperature will reach plus 20 degrees, according to the forecast of the Latvian Center for Environment, Geology and Meteorology.
After the past cool days and cold nights, when the air temperature dropped even to minus 6 degrees, it will gradually get warmer during the weekend.
At the end of the week, as the atmospheric pressure drops again, precipitation is expected almost all over the country on Friday, but the holidays promise to be dry, and the sky will clear in many places.
The west wind will increase, at times it will be gusty. The windiest day will be Friday, when the wind will reach a speed of 15-17 meters per second in gusts.
Nights will no longer be so cool, and in most of the country the thermometer will drop to plus 3, plus 8 degrees. Frost is possible only in some places and only at the height of the grass.
In the new week, the weather conditions will improve, and the days will pass mostly without precipitation, the wind will blow slowly, and it will gradually become warmer and the thermometer will reach the plus 20 degree mark.
