The most severe frosts this week are expected on the night of Thursday, when the temperature will drop to -4…0 degrees in most of Vidzeme and Latgale,
In Zemgale and the surroundings of Riga, the temperature will fluctuate around zero, but in Kurzeme there will be more clouds, in some places it will rain a little, so the frost could fall in many places, with the minimum temperature reaching 1…4 degrees.
On Thursday afternoon, the temperature will be within 7…12 degrees.
On Friday night, there will be more clouds, a little warmer air will flow to us with southwesterly winds, so there will be no frost, the temperature will remain slightly above zero.
The weekend will be sunny, but in the afternoons a gusty north-west, north wind will blow. At night, the temperature will be -1…5 degrees, the grass will be frosty in many places, but in the afternoon the temperature will reach 10…15 degrees, in many places on the coast it will be cooler – around 7…9 degrees.
It will gradually get warmer next week, but there is still some light frost expected in places at the beginning of the week.
