On Ozolciema Street, Ziepniekalnė, there is a patch of grass, which is crossed by a low road to the forest. Some residents of the area have noticed that they park their cars there for days, but on the night of Thursday, the tires of several cars were punctured.

“They have been parking their cars in this place for many years and they have nowhere else to park them,” says a local.

During road construction, residents of high-rise buildings are deprived of the opportunity to park their cars on the side of the road. And not everyone is entitled to permits to enter the yard.

It turns out that this is not the first time that the villain tries to intimidate the locals in this way. People around say that before, when it was still possible to park the car on the side of the street, the wheel bolts were also lost or sometimes simply loosened.

The representative of the State Police, Krista Andersone, informs that on May 2, the Riga Region Pārdaugava Department of the State Police received information about three damaged cars with punctured tires. Information about Audi, Volvo and Renault cars is registered with the police.

Part of the land where the machines are kept belongs to the municipality, and part to a legal entity. Residents of Ozolciema Street no longer know how to fight the tire hooligan and perhaps the only logical solution is not to park their cars in the green zone and look for more remote, legal parking spaces.
