On Saturday, April 27, the motorcycle race “Motorcycle season opening 2024” will take place in Riga. Motorcyclist parades during the trip from 13.00 until At 14.00, vehicle traffic will be closed on the journey route and on the streets crossing the route. Public vehicle traffic on the parade route will be regulated or closed as necessary, and there will be changes in some public transport routes.
The motorcyclist parade will follow the route: shopping center “Mols” (Krasta iela 46), then turn left to Krasta iela, along Dienidu tilto, Ziepniekkalnas iela, Mūkusala iela, Kuģu iela, Trijādības iela, Ranķa dam, Daugavgrīvas iela to Spilve airport .
During the parade journey, the State Police will regulate or close public vehicle traffic as necessary. However, certain routes (route 10; 23; and 26 buses and route 4; 19; and 27 trolleybuses) in the period from 13.00 until At 14.00, a detour will be made to go around the streets of the parade.

The State Police will regulate and, if necessary, close vehicle traffic on the mentioned route and on the streets crossing the route at the specified time, provide escort for the motorcycle convoy, and also ensure road traffic safety and public order.
The association “Latvijas Motoklubu Asociacià” is responsible for the event.
