Rodrigo, who will be two years old on April 18 of this year, lives with a severe diagnosis of cerebral palsy tetraparesis, which significantly limits his mobility. To improve his health, Rodrigo attends many therapies and classes in Tulsa, Riga, Jurmala and Tukum, including audio-speech therapy, dog therapy, ABA therapy and Montessori classes. Rodrigo and his mom’s biggest dream is dolphin therapy, which is very effective for children with similar health problems, but its cost is high – about 7,000 euros for 15 days. During the game, HK «Rotas/Meliorceltnieks» will compete with the team «Latvijas Hokeja Draugiem», in which well-known personalities from the world of sports and music will play. Entry to the event will be by donation, which will go towards funding Rodrigo’s therapies.
It is also possible to donate to the association “Džukstei”, account number LV94HABA0551039118425, with the indication: “Rodrigo’s health improvement”.
