On the Valka-Rīga bus route this Tuesday, April 23, there was a conflict between the bus driver and a passenger under the influence of alcohol, which culminated in a fight outside the bus, in which a passenger got involved. “Sadursme.lv” published the video and a more detailed description of the incident on the Facebook social network.

“On April 23, a conflict occurred on the Valka-Riga bus between the bus driver and an intoxicated passenger,” informed “Sadursme.lv”, publishing a video of an eyewitness and what happened on the bus.

“A drunken man spilled an alcoholic cocktail in the bus cabin, and the bus driver asked him to clean up, at the same time he noticed that there were bags on the benches, for which the driver reprimanded him. But this drunk did not react. The bus driver stopped at the nearest bus stop and asked the man to remove his bags from the benches, he ignored and then the bus driver ordered him to get off the bus. The drunken passenger also ignored it, then the driver tried to do it by force. The driver failed and asked another passenger to help him off the drunken gentleman. They got the drunk gentleman to his feet, and he became enraged, punching the bus driver in the face. And then one of the passengers got involved and the fight continued outside the bus.”

Several hundreds of Facebook users reacted to this video and also wrote their comments on the published video and the eyewitness’s post.
