The Minister of Culture Agnese Logina (P) declared her income in the amount of 66,180 euros last year, which is about 22,500 euros more than in 2022, according to the declaration of an official of the State Revenue Service.

Last year, she received 29,656 euros as a salary from the State Chancellery, 24,129 euros from Riga Municipality, 8,684 euros from the Latvian Academy of Culture, and 298 euros from the University of Latvia.

As other income, the declaration states 49 euros from AS “Latvijas mediji”, 240 euros from SIA “Rīgas laiks”, 71 euros from the State Cultural Capital Fund, 1953 euros from the Riga International Film Festival. On the other hand, she received 11 cents as interest from AS “Swedbank”. Logina was also awarded a scholarship of 350 euros from the State Cultural Capital Fund.

The declarations of previous years show that in 2022, Logina’s income reached 43,532 euros, and in 2021 – 37,964. During the past three years, the minister received 3,550 euros from her mother Inara Logina, while in 2020, Logina received a gift of 1,100 euros from her mother.

In 2023, Logina held several positions. She was a member of the Riga City Council, a member of the Budget Allocation Commission, a council member of the State Cultural Capital Fund and the Society Integration Fund. She also served as the chairman of the Latvian National Commission of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, was a member of the board of the “Short Riga” association and a lecturer at the University of Latvia.

The Minister of Culture owns an apartment in Riga and jointly owns another type of real estate in the capital. In 2023, the minister invested 473 euros and 109 euros in investment funds. Logina also owns a 2008 passenger car “Mercedes Benz B 200”, which the minister bought in 2022 for 6,000 euros.
