Football team “FS Jelgava” won their first victory of the season on the road in the 9th round of the “Tonybet” Premier League, beating FK “Liepāja” with the result 1:0 (0:0; 1:0). The only goal for Jelgava was scored by midfielder Glebs Kliushkins.

Experienced Armands Pētersons and GĽebs Kļuškins returned to Jelgavnieku after healing their injuries, but Agris Glaudāns was not announced for the game.
