Youth International Programs Agency (JSPA) In April 2024, young people and youth workers are invited to take advantage of various opportunities in the youth field – participate in webinars on artificial intelligence, participate in European Youth Week activities, apply for international and eTwinning training and other opportunities. In order to attend the proposed activities, you need to register in advance.

Webinars on artificial intelligence

In April, JSPA will organize two webinars on artificial intelligence and its integration in project writing and youth work. on April 11 at 10.00 will take place webinar “Artificial intelligence as an additional colleague in project writing?”, while on April 25 at 10.00 “Approved Technique: Artificial Intelligence in Youth Work”. European Youth Week activities

From 12 to 19 April in Latvia and elsewhere in Europe will be celebrated European Youth Week, which this year is dedicated to active civic participation. An international event will be held as part of it “Hop on the train of Europe”, in which 80 young people from Latvia will have the opportunity to travel by train to the Estonian city of Valga. In order to participate in this event, young people need to fill out an application by April 9 (including). questionnaire.

Also, as part of the European Youth Week, events in Latvia will also be organized by organizations of the information network “Eurodesk” and others. All events will be visible on the interactive map.

Opportunities offered by eTwinning

eTwinning members of self-governments of educational institutions and support persons have an opportunity until April 11 apply for face to face for the study cycle on civic participation, non-formal education and the project method. The first training phase will take place on the 24th-26th. in April in Turkalne. The training of the next stages is planned for May and August.

On the other hand, eTwinning project implementers can until April 16 of this year apply for for participation in an informal mindfulness evening “Meeting Yourself”, in order to reduce stress, promote awareness and look for your resources in the professional field with the help of various art-based tasks. The event will take place on April 30 at 18.00 online.

Supervision of those involved in youth work

JSPA Youth Policy State Programs 2024-2026. will organize within the year supervisions, to ensure access to psycho-emotional support for those involved in work with youth. For supervisions that will take place in the period from April to December 2024, applications are invited until April 16 apply for involved in work with youth from municipalities and NGOs.

International studies

Young people, youth workers, youth project leaders, youth leaders and representatives of NGOs who want to implement projects and activities involving young people with limited opportunities are invited until April 4 apply for learning about inclusion “Engage in Inclusion”. They will take place in Riga from May 13 to 17. Since the training is international, it will be held in English.

On the other hand, newcomers to the implementation of voluntary work projects of the “European Solidarity Corps” program can until April 5 apply for for internationals for studies, which will help to prepare and start the planning and organization of a volunteer work project for young people with limited opportunities. The training will take place from June 3 to 7 in the Greek city of Thessaloniki.

Application for the project “Development of the system of digital work with youth in municipalities”

Until April 15, municipalities can still apply for the project “Development of the Digital Work with Youth System in Municipalities” in order to create a modern, flexible, sustainable system of digital work with youth in their municipalities, which is focused on solving the problems of the target group, connecting it with other municipal services for the needs of the target group. to provide young people with ample opportunities to develop and apply their digital skills.
