Missiles can fly into any country “as early as tomorrow,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said in an interview with CBS News.
“This aggression and Putin’s army can reach Europe, and then US citizens, US soldiers will have to defend Europe, because they are members of NATO,” the Ukrainian leader warned.
According to Zelensky, the Russian leader is determined to “return the former Soviet Union to its imperial glory and geographical borders.”
“The 1980s and the end of the 1990s – he (Putin, – ed.) will never forgive,” said the president, implying that the dictator is resentful of the collapse of that world.
“He believes in it. We don’t need to change his mind… We need to change him,” said the Ukrainian leader.
