At the “Dīnys i Nadīnys” concert, you will be able to hear new, unheard songs from the group’s new studio album, and, of course, old and well-known songs as well.

“Dīnys i nadīnys” is the group’s sixth album, which was created over two years. The songs were written in different parts of the world.

“Mostly I wrote the lyrics. I got to travel quite a lot, so the album’s lyrics were written from Lake Baikal to the Baltic Sea. For example, in Poland, the Czech Republic, and everything has returned to Latvia – Latgale and collected in the album,” says the leader of the group.

“This album is different in that the previous albums were compilations, but this is still a thematic album and its cover symbolizes that. Man has a world that is visible or what he shows and is also invisible. The reference, I believe, is to the excellent work “The Master and Margarita,” in which Volant says, “What would be thy light without darkness?” Every thing has its shadow.”

The album has a message and everyone will have their own, says Arnis, for whom it is deeply personal.

“For 40 years you don’t write what you wrote in 20 years,” says Arnis.

At the concert, the band will be joined on stage by special guests: “Daugavpils Brass”, Laura Bicāne, Ingars Gusāns, Daugavpils Vienības Nama mixed choir “Daugava”, Juris Ostrovskis, Jana Dudare and Amanda Lapa. The group “Dabasu Durovys” has been on the scene for 18 years, has released six studio albums, regularly performed concerts in Latvia and abroad.

The group consists of Arnis Slobožanins (voice and guitar), Aleksandrs Tamans (drums), Valdis Rundzāns (bass), Māris Veliks (guitar), Vladimirs Šuvalovs (keyboards) and Roman Sladzis (guitar, voice).
