“Botox is good and I have been using it for several years. Once every six months. When it’s needed and I see the mimic moving. If I wasn’t a singer and vocal teacher who works with students almost every day and mime is more extra than a normal person, I don’t think I would ever go to the doctor or do anything in my life,” says Alex Silver.
Currently, the musician is 33 years old. When he turned 30, he woke up in the morning and had the feeling that he had to run at full speed to the doctor. “At one point I understood – there is a click and wrinkles appear. Was it simply in my head, or did I see myself on TV, but I realized that something needs to be changed,” says the singer. “I don’t think these are age wrinkles, but facial expressions.”
But what’s wrong with facial wrinkles? “I don’t want to see them,” explains the musician. “If there is a chance not to see it, then it is better not to see it.”
Alex emphasizes that it is not a story about what fans and other people think about his appearance, but what he himself feels when he looks in the mirror.
Botulinum injections help him look good. “I think that the audience also wants to look at a singer who is fresh, without wrinkles. If there is an opportunity for a person to age more beautifully, then why not do it,” says the singer.

As an alternative to beauty injections, there is self-massage, which everyone can do on their own. Maybe Alex would consider the idea of something like that too. “But it seems to me that the question is whether a person [rezultātu] I want to wait, or here and now. I guess I want here and now,” says Silver.
Although beauty injections are quite widely available and popular, few people are willing to talk about it openly. Women often claim that their beauty comes from within. Does Alex discuss this issue with the guys in his circle of friends? “Absolutely all my friends use botox. They don’t use it on their face.”
