Cohen worked with the late Queen Elizabeth II for 20 years, but was best known as the Queen’s personal secretary. So it was no wonder she was asked to help Prince Harry’s American bride acclimate to the royal family and life at Kensington Palace.

After six months of working with the actress, Samantha was very angry with Megan. Stubborn Markle either disagreed or didn’t understand the royal family’s unchanging customs.

A year after the wedding of the prince and the former actress, Cohen was ready to quit her job. Samantha complained that she was being treated “harshly” and said that communicating with Megan reminded her of working “with difficult teenagers”.

The woman said that she stayed in the position three times longer than she had planned because it was difficult to find a person to replace her. For example, the new private secretary, who was chosen after an interview, resigned during Harry and Meghan’s tour of Africa in 2019.

Cohen confirmed that she was one of a number of palace staff members who testified in the bullying case, which Harry and Meghan’s communications secretary, Jason Knauf, filed in 2018.

The results of the investigation were supposed to be made public, but the palace has not yet done so.

Three women have formally approached Knauf with reports that Meghan “allegedly” harmed them. Complaints began to pile up, and he reported to the palace’s human resources department that Prince Harry’s wife had bullied and verbally assaulted several female employees over the course of a year.

One of the employees who quit claimed that meeting Megan made her “feel bad”.

The Sussex family, however, denied the allegations. Meghan and Harry claimed the Duchess of Sussex had been “the target of bullying herself and is deeply committed to supporting those who have experienced pain and trauma”.
