In Russia, in the city of Salavat in the Republic of Bashkortostan, a drone of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) carried out an attack on an oil refinery, a source in the Ukrainian intelligence services announced.

With this strike, a new record for distances covered by Ukrainian drones was set, as it flew 1,500 kilometers, the source said.

“The SBU once again proved that it has powerful technological solutions that facilitate the delivery of painful blows to the enemy,” the source said. “This means that even deep in the back of Russia’s oil refineries, oil bases that work for the military-industrial complex, cannot feel safe.”

The leader of Bashkortostan, Rady Khabirov, previously announced that on Thursday around 1:00 p.m. a drone “strike was carried out on the industrial zone of the city of Salavat”. As a result, one of the facilities of the company “Gazprom neftehim Salavat” caused smoke.

Khabirov claimed that “the company is working as usual”.

On the night of Thursday, an attack was also carried out on an oil base in the Krasnodar region near Anapa.

Sources in the Ukrainian intelligence services indicated that this strike was also carried out by SBU drones.
