From April 16 to 18, 2024, the team of the State Border Guard College took part in the professional sports competition of border guards of the Border Guard educational institutions of the Three Baltic States, which this year was organized by the college’s cooperation educational institution – the Police and Border Guard College of the Academy of Security Sciences of the Republic of Estonia.

The competition took place in Tallinn and the teams of the State Border Guard College of the Republic of Latvia, the School of Border Guards of the State Border Guard Service of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania and the Police and Border Guard College of the Academy of Security Sciences of the Republic of Estonia participated in them.

Teams played volleyball, competed in a specialized relay, covered a certain distance on rowing machines, while both teams and team captains competed in shooting.

Points were awarded for each discipline, which were added up in the overall ranking. Summarizing all the results in the competition, the team of the State Border Guard College of the Republic of Latvia won the 3rd place, the team of the School of Border Guards of the State Border Guard Service of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania took the 2nd place, and the team of the Police and Border Guard College of the Academy of Security Sciences of the Republic of Estonia won the 1st place.

The State Border Guard College team was represented in the competition by Major S. Nazarov, commander of the First Training Company of the Professional Education Service of the State Border Guard College (team captain), privates Normunds Domulevs, Raivis Kuznetsov, Katrina Nagle, Alice Putroma, Gleb Bolshakov, Tomaš Zhukov, Daniil Konevs of the First Training Company. , Milan Mitroshchenko, Private Elvis Škapars, cadet of the Second Training Company, Corporals Ronald Murans, Sofija Tereskina, Dmitri Ivanovs and Sergeant Bazhena Mizisha, cadets of the Third Training Company.

The professional sports competition of the border guards of the Border Guard educational institutions of the three Baltic States has become an integral part of the cooperation between the educational institutions of the neighboring countries, providing an opportunity for students to improve their cooperation abilities and strengthen the sense of unity by developing international cooperation.
