The Shooting World Cup is taking place in Azerbaijan, Baku, where the world’s leading athletes are fighting for Olympic ranking points and World Cup medals.

On May 8 and 9, Agate Rashmane and Kristiāna Agule took part in an exercise in shooting with a small-caliber pistol at a distance of 25 meters (for the second time in this World Cup). The youngest participant of the competition, Kristiana Agule, again reaching her personal record, shot 581 points (288 points on the target with a black circle, 293 points on the temporarily visible target) and won 17th place. Agate Rashmane shot 575 points (287 points on the target with a black circle, 288 points on the temporarily visible target) and won the 38th place.

Bench shooters competed in round bench shooting for two days. Dainis Upelnieks started the first day optimistically with 24 + 25 + 24 shot targets. The second day’s 23 + 23 points (a total of 119 points) was a little too low to compete for medals in the finals of the competition. Dainim 28th place. The second shooter of our round table, Ryan Lukas Kukutis, shot 112 targets and ranked 63rd.
