The Spanish car manufacturer has started the year 2024 excellently, earning 226 million euros in the first quarter.
Seat reported for the first three months of 2024, which pleasantly surprised the company’s management. According to published statistics, global deliveries of manufactured products increased by more than ten percent to 138,600 vehicles, the market share in Western Europe increased from 3.5 percent to 3.8 percent, the total sales volume in the first quarter reached a new record of 3.8 billion euros ( plus 6.8 percent), while profit – 226 million euros, which is 57 percent more than in the same period last year.
A significant contribution to this success is the sporty sub-brand Cupra, which increased sales to 56,600 cars in the first three months of the year. This is 10,000 copies more (+21.4%) than in this period last year. In March, the Cupra recorded its best month ever with 23,800 deliveries. The Formentor remains the most popular model, while sales of the Cupra Leon more than doubled.
The parent company Seat also increased its sales volume by 4.3 percent, reaching 81,900 sold units.
