The joint venture “Baltic Storage Platform” develops, builds and will operate extremely high-capacity battery storages in Estonia and on a wider scale in all three Baltic countries. The capital inflow of “Mirova” company, using the fund created for the energy transition, will promote and accelerate the development of the company.

“Natixis Investment Managers” subsidiary “Mirova”, which deals with sustainable investments, has announced its involvement in the capital of the “Baltic Storage Platform” joint venture. “Baltic Storage Platform” was founded in August 2023 by “Corsica Sole”, an independent solar energy producer and one of the leaders in energy storage in Europe, and “Evecon”, a leading developer of renewable energy in the Baltic States. The transaction provides the means to realize the ambitions of this structure, serving the transformation of the electricity grid of the Baltic States.
