The turnover of medical goods wholesaler SIA “B.Braun Medical” last year was 15.661 million euros, which is 11.5% more than the year before, but the company’s profit increased 2.1 times – up to 630,043 euros, according to “Firmas.lv ” data is reported by the national information agency LETA.
The management report of the annual report states that last year, while the company was actively acquiring funding from the European Union (EU), “B.Braun Medical” implemented several projects of significant size, mainly in the sale of infusion equipment and surgical instruments. Also, a significant increase in sales last year was ensured by the increase in demand for large joint endoprostheses.
In general, the company’s management evaluates last year’s financial results positively, the report states.
Commenting on this year’s prospects, the management of “B.Braun Medical” mentions that no such extensive projects with EU co-financing are planned for 2024, so the overall turnover could decrease slightly.
In 2022, “B.Braun Medical” worked with a turnover of 14.049 million euros and a profit of 303,441 euros.
“B.Braun Medical” was registered at the end of 1995. The company’s share capital is 71,142 euros. The sole owner of the company is Finnish “B.Braun Medical”, reports LETA.
