“Don’t believe anyone that we want to go to war. We are preparing for war, I speak openly about this – if we want peace, we are preparing for war,” said Lukashenko.

Lukashenko also added that Belarus does not threaten anyone: “We do not need to threaten anyone. We don’t want someone else’s land.”

It is reported that during Lukashenko’s visit to the border town, he participated in the capsule-laying ceremony at the construction site of the new hospital and thus also gave a “message to the neighboring countries of Belarus.”

Lukashenko explained that Belarus is also digging land near the border, but not for the construction of a trench, but for the construction of a medical facility: “We are now also digging land, just like them – close to the border. Only our goal is completely different. We want to make our future peaceful.”

It has already been reported that at the end of March, Lukashenko, while walking his dog at the base on the Lithuanian border, discussed a military conflict with the Baltic states.

On March 26, the microblogging site “X” (“Twitter”) shared a video of the conversation of the leader of Belarus at a military base on the Lithuanian border, where he, stroking a dog on his lap, discusses with military personnel a planned confrontation with the Baltic states and part of Poland.

“So that we can treat it accordingly. We need to know clearly what they want. How much they don’t remind us all the time about the Suwalki corridor and how many kilometers it is to Russia, to the Kaliningrad region from our border,” said the leader of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, in a video recording, while at a military base in the Ashmyan district, carelessly stroking a dog on his lap. .

The source of the video is Lukashenko’s propaganda channel “Пул Первого”, but the video clip has been widely republished by other media on the microblogging site “X”. The video captures Lukashenko’s consultation with an apparently high-ranking military figure, who, in response to Lukashenko’s questions, explains that Belarus is ready for a military conflict with the Baltic states and part of Poland.
