The political scientist reminds that Putin says that he is the one who ensures stability in the country.
“This is his motto: Putin the president – stability in the country. What we are seeing now does not indicate stability – you have people being shot at in an elite concert hall in Moscow and then burned,” Rajevsky explained.
He emphasizes that it is also irrelevant whether it was a terrorist attack inspired by the Russian security services themselves or carried out by terrorists, because in any case, such an event does not indicate stability in the country.
Rajevsky also reminds that the Legion of “Freedom of Russia” recently freely entered the territory of Russia, which continues its raids in the Belgorod region: “The war has entered the territory of Russia.”
At the same time, one of the bloodiest terrorist attacks in recent years is taking place in the capital of Russia: “This does not indicate that this country is in a healthy state, that everything is in order there. It means that someone is not doing a fantastic job.”
Asked if this does not indicate that a mutual struggle between the elites has begun in Russia, the political scientist answers that crisis situations are always used to defend some of their own interests.
He reminds that the concert hall where the terrorist attack took place belongs to a family close to Putin.
It has already been reported that on March 22, armed attackers opened fire in the “Crocus City Hall” concert hall, which is located in Krasnogorsk, Piemaskova. The shooting started shortly before the concert of the rock group “Piknik”, but at the same time, a concert of the Leningrad Region Symphony Orchestra was held in another hall. The Russian Investigative Committee has confirmed the death of 137 people. The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack. Russia has announced that 11 suspects, including four, have been detained terrorist attack performers.
