The world championship in the B group of the first division, which is the third in the ranking of world championships for women, will be held in the “Volvo” hall from March 31 to April 6.

The opponents of the Latvian national team will be hockey players from Poland, Italy, Slovenia, Great Britain and Slovakia.

The Latvian national team will meet the Slovakian team on March 31, Italy on April 1, Slovenia on April 3, Poland on April 5 and Great Britain on April 6.

The first-placed team will play in the A group of the first division next season, while the last-placed team will play in the A group of the second division in 2025.

Hannu Saintulam is assisted by coaches Ahto Karna, Paulis Zvirgzdiņš and Vladislavs Koniševs in the national team.
