Oleksiy Simonenko, Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine, was also dismissed from his post. The prosecutor clarified that his deputy resigned “of his own free will”. Simonenko made such a decision after journalists came out with information that at the end of 2022 he went on vacation to Spain with the Mercedes of a businessman from Lviv.

Also, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kirill Tymoshenko, has resigned, announcing it on his Telegram profile. Accusations have also been sent in his direction – Tymoshenko used the car, which was given for the evacuation of Ukrainian citizens from combat zones and humanitarian missions, for his own purposes. Tymoshenko did not deny the accusations, explaining that he drove this car to the de-occupied territories and that the car is in the balance sheet of the State Affairs Administration.

Also, the Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, Ivan Lukerja, has resigned. Even before that, his predecessor Vasiliys Lozinskis, who is suspected of taking a large bribe for the purchase of generators, was dismissed.

The list of suspended officials does not end there. The Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Oleg Nemchynov, announced in his “Telegram” profile that on January 24, the Ukrainian government made decisions regarding several persons. Vyacheslavs Negoda, another Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development, as well as Vitaly Muzichenko, Deputy Minister of Social Policy, have been dismissed from their positions.

Valentin Reznichenko, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk region administration, Oleksandr Staruha, the Zaporizhia region head, Oleksiy Kuleba, the Kyiv region head, Dmytro Zhivuckis, the Sumy region head, and Yaroslav Yanushevich, the Kherson region head, have also been relieved of their duties.
