Over the past weekend, information was received in the service area of the Vidzeme Regional Administration of the State Police on 249 cases when residents sought help from the police or it was established that a criminal offense had occurred. 27 road traffic accidents were registered, where in three cases a total of three people were injured. In the field of road traffic, 342 administrative violation decisions were made, including 206 for speeding, as well as seven car drivers sitting behind the wheel under the influence of alcohol.
