On May 1, 4 and 6, the Jelgava municipal institutions “Central administration”, “Centralized accounting of municipal institutions”, “Orphans’ court”, “Jelgava education board”, “Jelgava digital center”, “Culture”, “City economy” will be closed. “Jelgava City and County Registry Office”, “Jelgava Social Affairs Board”, “Sports Service Center”, “Community Center” and “Zemgale Region Competence Development Center”.

On April 30, May 3, 11, 18, the working hours of the cemetery managers of the municipal institution “Pilsētsaimniecība” will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and on May 1, 4, 5 and 6 – free.

Working hours will also change for Jelgava’s libraries and tourist objects – museums, Jelgava’s Holy Trinity Church tower, Jelgava’s Old Town House, Life and Crafts Farm.

Jelgava City Library, Miezītes Library, Pārlielupe Library and Children’s and Youth Library “Zinītis” will be open from 10 am to 4 pm on April 30 and May 3. On May 2, Jelgava City Library will be waiting for visitors from 10 am to 7 pm. Miezītes, Pārlielupe library , as well as the children’s and youth library “Zinītis” will be open on this day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Jelgava City Library will work on May 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the other libraries will be closed on that day. All libraries will be closed on May 1, 4, 6, 12 and 19.

The Gederts Elias Jelgava Museum of History and Art will be open on May 4 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., but closed on May 1 and 6. The Adolf Alunan Museum will be closed on May 1, 4 and 6. Also on May 12, Mother’s Day, and May 19, Pentecost, the Ęederts Elias Jelgava Museum of History and Art and the Ā.Alunāns Museum will be closed to visitors.

The viewing area, exhibition hall and tourist center of Jelgava’s Holy Trinity Church tower will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on May 1 and 4, and exhibitions will be available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

On May 6, the tower’s observation deck, exhibition hall, exposition and tourist center will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Jelgava’s Old Town House will be open to visitors on May 1 and 4 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., while on May 6 – from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Farm of Life and Crafts will be closed on May 1 and 6, but on May 4 visitors will be waiting from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
