The head of the Russian Federal Customs Service, Ruslan Davidov, complained to the local media that the Baltic states and Finland are sabotaging cargo deliveries and artificially creating queues at the border. When talking about the difficult situation at the Buračka – Terehova checkpoint, he confused Lithuania with Latvia, reports the portal tv3.lt.

According to Ruslan Davidov, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Finland are actually sabotaging cargo transportation and creating artificial queues. However, when accusing him of sabotage, the official confused Latvia with Lithuania when talking about the Terehova – Burački border crossing point. It can be read in the Russian propaganda information media “RIA Novosti”, where an official is quoted.

“Giving an example of such sabotage, he talked about the situation at the Burachki-Terehova checkpoint, on the Russian-Lithuanian border, where approximately 2,000 cars are waiting in line to enter Russia,” the text of the Russian news agency says.

The head of Russian customs complained that only a little more than a hundred cars crossed the border in the last 24 hours. This means that you have to stand in line for up to 20 days. Although there are also perishables, there may be medicines and basic necessities.

According to Lithuanian customs reports, there was no queue at the border points with Russia in the last 24 hours. About 1 thousand lines of trucks formed on the border of Belarus with Lithuania – at the Medininka and Šalčininka checkpoints.

On the other hand, R. Davidov promised to complain to the international institutions – he has already threatened to write a letter to the president of the World Customs Organization about the actions of the Baltic states and Finland on the Russian border.
