This Saturday, everyone who wants beauty around them and throughout our land has the great opportunity to put in their “five cents” and go to the Great Cleanup, which is not only a movement that brings with it the feeling of a job well done, but also the joy of being together.
The park of Rucka Manor is 7 hectares wide and there will definitely be something for both young and old. For the little ones, there are wonderful opportunities to release all the energy accumulated during the winter, so that they sleep better in the evening and have less nonsense in their heads. It must be said that the new managers of the manor – the association “Live Latvija” have already done a huge job – thickets have been cut and benches have been made, but some more hands will definitely be welcome. We, the Ruckas manor team, will be happy for every visitor who is ready to contribute his hand, idea and presence so that one of the most valuable historical objects of the city of Cēsis will regain its luster and become a meeting place not only during cleaning, but also in everyday life and on holidays .
We will very much welcome people who can bring not only a good mood, but also work gloves, a rake or another useful tool.
From our side, we promise gratitude for what we have done and also a plate of soup cooked on the fire, which every decent Latvian has given to his servants since ancient times.

While the big ones are working, the little ones are having fun
The big cleaning does not cancel the traditional events of Rucka manor. As every Saturday, we invite the little ones to creative children’s mornings. This Saturday, April 27, Cēsa Theater actress Inuta Briede invites you to the activity “Do and create together”, who from 10:00 will be most enjoyable for small children (3-5 years old), while from At 11.30, children aged 6-9 are invited to participate in the activities.
