General meeting of the Latvian Veterinary Association – conference “Good veterinary medical practice”

On April 26, 2024, on the eve of World Veterinary Day, the Association of Latvian Veterinarians (hereinafter – LVB), which is the only non-governmental organization uniting veterinarians in Latvia, is holding its annual general meeting – the conference “Good Veterinary Practice” in Jelgava, in the premises of LBTU in the Jelgava Palace. 347 veterinarians from Latvia and abroad have applied for the conference. The LVB general meeting – the conference will be opened by the Minister of Agriculture, Armands Krauze.

The conference will take place in four professional sections – the Small Animal Veterinarian Section, the Equine Veterinarian Section, the Agricultural Animal Veterinarian Section and the Veterinary Institution Managers Section. Foreign and domestic lecturers, including representatives of PVD and the Ministry of Agriculture, will speak at the conference about challenges for veterinary medical practice from 2024 – 2027, about guidelines for good veterinary medical practice, about the implementation progress of “E-VETIS”, as well as many other aspects of good and modern veterinary medicine practice questions.

Throughout the day, a rich exhibition of companies will be on display, where you will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with innovations in the veterinary medicine industry.
