On April 27, during the opening trip of the motorcycle season, there will be changes in several public transport routes

on April 27 from 13.00 until about At 14.00 from the “Mols” shopping center, further along Krasta iela, Dienudi tilta, Ziepniekkalnas iela, Mūkusala iela, Kuģi iela, Trijādības iela, Ranķa dami, Daugavgrīvas iela to Spilve airport, the opening race of the Moto season will be organized. Consequently, there will be changes in certain public transport routes.

• Route 10 buses

  • Towards Abrene Street will run along the route up to Kārļas Ulmaņas gatva, further along Kārļas Ulmaņas gatva, Bauskas iela, Jelgavas iela, Akmeņu iela, Valgumas iela, Uzvaras boulevard, Akmens bridge and further along the route.
  • The stops “Bieķensalas iela”, “Laivu iela”, “Mūkusala” and “Kīleveina gravis” on Mūkusalas iela, as well as “National library” on Kuģu iela will be closed on the route. In the direction to the center, the bus will stop at the stops “Koku iela”, “Satiksmes iela”, “Bieķensalas iela” and “LU Academic Center” on Jelgava street, as well as “National Library” on Uzvaras boulevard.
  • Towards Jaunmārupi will run along the route to Akmens tilto, further along Akmens tilto, Uzvaras boulevard, Valguma iela, Akmenu iela, Mūkusalas iela and further along the route.
  • The “National Library” stop on Kuģu street will be closed on the route. In the direction from the center, the bus will stop at the tram stop “National Library” on Uzvaras boulevard.

• Route 23 buses

  • Towards Abrene Street will run along the route up to Jelgavas iela, further along Jelgavas iela, Akmenu iela, Valgumas iela, Uzvaras boulevard, Akmens bridge and further along the route.
  • The “National Library” stop on Kuģu street will be closed on the route. In the direction to the center, the bus will stop at the “National library” stop on Uzvaras boulevard.
  • Towards Baloži will run along the route to Akmens tilto, further along Akmens tilto, Uzvaras boulevard, Valguma iela, Akmenu iela, Jelgavas iela and further along the route.
  • The “National Library” stop on Kuģu street will be closed on the route. In the direction from the center, the bus will stop at the tram stop “National Library” on Uzvaras boulevard.

• Route 26 buses

  • Towards Abrene Street will run along the route up to Jelgavas iela, further along Jelgavas iela, Akmenu iela, Valgumas iela, Uzvaras boulevard, Akmens bridge and further along the route.
  • The stops “Laivu iela”, “Mūkusala” and “Kīleveina gravis” on Mūkusala street, as well as “National library” on Kuģu street will be closed on the route. In the direction to the center, buses will stop at the “LU Academic Center” on Jelgava Street and the “National Library” on Uzvaras Boulevard.
  • Towards Katlakalna will run along the route to Akmens tilto, further along Akmens tilto, Uzvaras boulevard, Valguma iela, Akmenu iela, Mūkusalas iela and further along the route.
  • The “National Library” stop on Kuģu street will be closed on the route. In the direction from the center, the bus will stop at the tram stop “National Library” on Uzvaras boulevard.

• Route 4 trolleybuses

  • From Jugla to Ziepniekkalna and from Ziepniekkalna to Jugla will run straight along the Salu bridge, without entering the Mūkusala rotation circle.
  • The “Mūkusala roundabout” stop on the route will be closed in both directions, while the “Lucavsala” stop will be served in both directions.

• Route 19 trolleybuses

  • From Pētersalas street to Ziepniekkalns and from Ziepniekkalns to Pētersalas streets will run straight along the Salu bridge, without entering the Mūkusala rotation circle.
  • The “Mūkusala roundabout” stop will be closed in both directions, while the “Lucavsala” stop will be served in both directions.

• Route 27 trolleybuses

  • Vtowards the Station square will run along the route to Jelgavas iela, further along Jelgavas iela, Akmeņu iela, Valgumas iela, Uzvaras boulevard, Akmens bridge and further along the route to Station Square.
  • To Ziepniekalni will run along the route to Akmens tilto, further along Akmens tilto, Uzvaras boulevard, Valguma iela, Akmenu iela, Mūkusalas iela and further along the route.
  • The stops “Laivu iela”, “Mūkusala” and “Kīleveina gravis” in the direction of the center, as well as “National Library” will be closed in both directions. In the direction from the center, trolleybuses will stop at the tram stops “Nacionalā bibliotēka” and “LU Akadēmiskais centrs”, and in the direction of the center at the stop “Nacionalā bibliotēka” on Uzvaras boulevard.

The State Police will temporarily close the movement of vehicles at certain stages during the journey. Therefore, temporary disruptions in the timetable of public transport are possible.

• Disturbances are possible:

  • on the 3rd bus route in the direction of Daugavgrīva and Pļavnieki in Ranķa dam, Daugavgrīvas street and near Spilve airfield.
  • on the 12th bus route towards “Ziedonis” Cooperative on Krasta Street.
  • on bus route 13 in the direction of Babīte station in Ranķa dam and Daugavgrīvas street.
  • on bus route 23 in the direction of Abrenes Street in Bauskas Street near Piena Kombinata.
  • on bus route 54 Daugavgrīvas street near Spilve airport.
